POSTURE check that your body is in balance to start, stay in balance throughout
the swing. If you start with too much weight on your toes or heels you will compensate for this in your swing.
CLUBHEAD AIMING place your ball on a penny and hit the penny out from underneath the
ball. If you can hit the penny with regularity your hands are well trained. You must hit the bottom of the ball to utilize
the clubs loft. Learn to aim the clubhead like a tradesman learns to hammer a nail.
TOO FAR AWAY FROM THE BALL if we are too far away we cannot possibly reach the bottom
of the ball without changing posture.
FLIPPER trying to lift the ball into the air, (Weak left hand Strong right); elbows
separate with no release through impact. Rotate left hand a little to the right, rotate right hand a fraction to the left.
RHYTHM is the swings lubricant, allowing the time for the sequence of your swings
mechanics to take place, let the swing flow smoothly at an even pace back and through.
BALANCE is the key to consistency of your swing; perfect balance is achieved all the
way from balanced set up through to a perfectly balanced finish.
